Why do natural harmonics only occur on certain frets on a guitar?

Why do natural harmonics only occur on the 5ft, 7th, 12ft, 19th, & 24th frets on a guitar? According to scale, if they occur on 5ft, 7th, & 12ft, why does it skip 17th, knowing that 19th & 24th are 1 full octave up from 7th & 12ft & 17th up 1 full octave from 5ft? I understand music theory & some sound dynamics, but not sound physics. I've just always been curious about this phenomenon.
