It says "refridgerate after opening".... but....?

I have an expensive hot sauce (Colon Blow) that I got a store that's not exactly close-by (anyone driving from Southern California to Vegas knows of Alien Beef Jerky). Anyway, I opened the bottle at a restaurant this past Tuesday night (5/2/11) so someone could try it. I forgot about it and left it in the car until today, 5/6/11. It says "refrigerate after opening", but I'm wondering, just how long does it take this stuff to go bad to where it's dangerous to use? It's mostly habanero and vinegar, but does have some tomato paste, and clearly says "No preservatives" on the bottle. Is it a lost cause?
