Trying to be openminded...BUT, what is the appeal of Cannibal Corpse?

Dude my generation was the one that invented that "Cookie monster on acid" sound.I'm forty by the way.I used to really dig some of the bands Possessed were one of the first bands with that sound.I think they were the first.Great guitar sounds.But they were Satanic Posers.As were most of the bands that had little or no talent.I give C.C a load of credit for still being around.Hey at least they don't have to work a 9/5 day job.Hey I thought the Death Metal thing was a going to die out around 1989.Guess I was wrong.....
