Who is Jesus talking about in Matthew 7:22-23?

This warning ought to so convict us that we waste no time considering what OTHER people might be guilty of in this regard, but entirely whether WE fall into this wretched category. We ought to have our minds concentrated on whether WE are doing God's will, day by day (whether in a spectacular fashion or in the hum-drum ordinariness of life). Jesus clearly warns that trusting in what we do will not save us. Even the most spectacularly wondrous deeds, done in Jesus' name, will not save us unless those deeds are in accordance with God's will for us. So strong is Jesus' language here, it seems to indicate that the more phenomenally miraculous a claimed Christian's deeds are, the more suspicious we should be! Those who do God's will accrue no glory to themselves, but ensure all the glory goes to God.
